Welcome! to the website of the McCandless Families of Ireland. For the last two or three years I have been gathering up all the records I can find relating to the McCandlesses in Ulster and over the coming months I will be posting them on this site. I hope that all those McCandlesses now scattered across the globe can recapture some of the culture and heritage experienced by our ancestors. For those of us who have not strayed too far from Ulster, or hope to visit, this site will equip you with the skills and information required to complete your own family tree. About this site There are two feature pages on this site which are updated regularly. There may be any number of things from photographs or biographies to genealogical records, but all relating in some way to the name McCandless. I require your input to keep adding new material, so all pieces of information, no matter how small will be most welcome!	Your Help is needed. I need your help to keep this site updated. Any info I can get relating to the McCandless families of Ulster will be gratefully received. I am particularly interested in personal histories, the location of burial plots and old family stories. My own Ancestors My own branch of the McCandless family hail from the village of Macosquin, just outside the Town of Coleraine, County Londonderry. Many of my own ancestors have emigrated.
